Over a 30 year career I've pivoted from Fashion to Tech to Beauty to Community. Starting with 25 years in Fashion, notably last at DVF—I helped the company grow from $6M to over $300M in just 7 years. I was the CBO of tech start up SPRING where I led curation strategy and onboarded 1,600 brands in 3 years. As CEO of Violet Grey I increased sales 4x, priming the brand for acquisition. Currently the CEO & Co-Founder of THE BOARD I curate and match world class talent with companies to scale business. I am the co-founder of DISH studios in DTLA, on the founding team of IAMVOTER, and sit on the style Board of GLAM4GOOD, and am an advisor/investor in tech platforms SHOP MY (influencer/affiliates) , TRY NOW (Try Before You Buy), CAKE (Private Membership Shopping Club), & MADA (Styling/Affiliates). I love helping leaders and founders build brands.

About me

Under her stewardship VIOLET GREY increased revenue by 3.5x in less than 3 years and became primed for acquisition. As the CBO at tech start-up Spring April led brand strategy and curation, bringing over 1,600 brands (from Warby Parker to Gucci) to the platform. Prior to Spring she spent 25 years in fashion, where she worked with both large global and emerging brands, and for 9 years was the EVP of Global Sales & Strategy at DVF, where she played an essential role in developing DVF into an iconic global brand.

FAQ

• How do office hours work?

  Office Hours are you direct connection to industry shapers. Browse our available Advisors, schedule a 1:1 session with them, show up and ask your questions, receive thoughtful insight.

• How long are the sessions?

  30 minute and 60 minute sessions are available. You can select the session that works best for you when you schedule.

• Can I book more time?

  Yes! You can book time with the same (or different) Advisors as you need and based on their availability.

• What if I have to cancel or reschedule?

  You can reschedule your session at least 24 hours before your call. For any cancellations, or reschedules within 24 hours of the session, we do charge a 50% fee to compensate the expert for the last minute change. Please email us and we can help.

• What if our time runs over?

  If your advisor is available to extend the session, additional time can be added in 15-minute increments.

• Is 60 minutes really enough time to help me?

  When you schedule your session you will be asked a few questions and provided the opportunity to upload pertinent documents + share social links. All projects are different and THE BOARD has you covered where ever your project leads.
