As we enter this period of reflection, I'm looking at the last twelve months, my first full year as a business owner at Office of the Surface and a member of THE BOARD. Our clients are brands and individuals who understand the value of an outside perspective and how it can catapult their business forward, but in many cases, it takes a little time to figure out exactly how we all fit together. So for those of you who have considered working with a consultant from THE BOARD in 2024, I'd like to offer an analogy for my beauty industry friends and really anyone with a skincare routine....

We play well with others. Much in the same way your serum has to work with all other elements of your routine, the members of THE BOARD are your Switzerland. We have a healthy disregard for corporate politics, and can speak on behalf of clients in our networks to gather intel, reach key decision makers for honest feedback, and leverage the entire network of all members as needed.
